Dwelling
A little glimpse into my dwelling! The pottery on the stereo case, that my husband made, is primarily Desimone and Raymor.
My camera is "missing" after the sweet valet boys parked our friends car. They left my Kate Spade sunglasses, although I would happily trade them!! So much for any vintage dress pictures. Maybe this weekend though!

Etsy ....
OOOPS! I should mention my new favorite Etsy shop cOveTableCuriOsitIEs.etsy.com.
I am in love with all the crazy, obscure oddities she has. I really really hate to share when I find something good, but Tina has an array of cute, eccentric things that can perk up your day without spending BIG money!!! Hey, those Zolar cards have Chi-Chi Veroux written all over them! I just adore these cigar wraps!!
These glass charms will make spectacular gift tags as well as beautiful necklaces!!
I am in love with the red glass charms, but she does have alot of other colors!!!

Junk in trunk...
I found this in my tupperware-treasures! A Jean Paul Gaultier catsuit, circa 1980!!! I haven't a clue as to who in the hell would wear this or to what type of event.
The backside is overwhelming to say the least. In part because my "model" has such a lovely figure!!! Overall its a lot of information for me!!!!
Now THIS is more my speed. Beaded 1950's sweater in baby blue. Delicious. Although, I am always cvurious how people kept their clothes in such good condition?? Especially these beaded numbers. I break out in a sweat everytime I have to photograph one of these things.

Studio 54, Where are you??
This is an absolute groovy 1970's disco type dress. i love the fact that it has a certain amount of peek-a-boo slash naughty girl vibe. The top embellishment is stunning! i have a million different types of 70's disco/secretary frocks and am trying very hard to photograph all of them. Add on my mommy duties, kid's homework and organizing the store and you get a woman who's in bed by 8:oo almost every nite! It's a far cry from my own disco nites that's for sure!

More Vintage Dresses!!!!
I just adore this little black dress. I had actually forgotten all about it, untill yesterday as I was digging through some of my vintage clothes. We have collected for over 9 years and I am still being surprised by items every day! See, we constantly purchase clothing and jewelry, then neatly pack it up in these huge tupperware containers. It's like Christmas whenever I open one.
My store space is overflowing with jewelry, hats, scarves, coats, furs, dresses and lingerie. It's almost too much to handle!!!
The white 1950's prom dress is going to be on my site in a week or so. It's GORGEOUS!

Vintage baubles and such....
Well, the days have been busy and long!!! The "Greek" and I have been unpacking oodles of boxes of jewelry!!! Gorgeous vintage pieces from Weiss, Lisner, Coro and Trifari just to name a few! My Bakelite collection of bracelets is outstanding. As are the mexican silver pieces and of course my asian inspired necklaces! So very, very Diane Vreeland.
We will soon be updating our vintage site, Junkandsugar.com
Keep checking!

VINTAGE LOVELIES!!!!!!
Clearly, I am a woman born in the wrong times. Simply dreadful, don't I know it!! However one must do what is necessary to make life interesting, so I march along, often to my own symphony.
Here I am caught in an absolute FIT of laughter, listening to my children sing a song from that rascal Sponge Bob!!!
